This is
an outline of the topics we will be covering in Science this year.
Earth Science
Astronomy – The study of outer space,
specifically the positions, dimensions, motion and composition of celestial
bodies.
Meteorology & Oceanography – The study of weather and weather
conditions, specifically looking at the relationship weather has to the
movement and physical characteristics of the ocean.
Life Science
Human Anatomy – The science of the human body, we will
be learning about the structure and functions of the various systems.
Ecology – The branch of life science that
deals with the relationships and interactions between organisms and their
environment.
Physical Science
Force, Motion & Energy – The science of matter
and energy and the interactions between the two, specifically looking at the effects of forces on an object’s motion.
