Students in grades 1-5 have music for one forty-minute
period each week. While in music,
students participate in movement activities, learn patriotic songs, and play
percussion instruments during music class.
Lessons are planned to address the national and NH state frameworks, and
to incorporate seasonal activities. For
example, songs at the beginning of the school year may be about returning to
school, apple picking, or other fall activities.
All students in grades 1-5 also have the opportunity
to perform in the school
